Some private sector staff 'rewarded' in the south of England

For many, in the last five years pay rises have not kept up with inflation.

The so-called "cost of living crisis" has meant everything from food to energy bills have gone up, while wages have mostly lagged behind.

However, some companies in the private sector in the south have said recent growth means they are now able to reward staff.
