UK storms: Angry Somerset farmer tells Lord Smith to resign
The chairman of the Environment Agency, Lord Smith, has said he has no intention of resigning over substantial flooding on the Somerset Levels.
He visited the region on Friday to assess the damage caused by weeks of torrential rain and was greeted by an angry farmer, Julian Green.
Mr Green said his house "was going under" and called on Lord Smith to step down.
