Reservoirs at capacity put Midlands at risk of flooding

Following one of the wettest months on record, Severn Trent has warned many of its reservoirs are at capacity.

Some are overflowing into already-swollen rivers.

The company said there is enough water to keep 4.2 million homes and businesses supplied until September without any further rainfall.
