Sonning residents call for gravel pit and landfill review

People in a flood-hit village are calling on the government to review plans for a new gravel pit and landfill site.

They fear it could exacerbate future flooding.

Plans to extract gravel from beneath fields near Sonning, Berkshire, have already been approved but the land - close to the River Thames - is currently under water.
