Bed shortage separates baby twins

A set of identical twins, born prematurely, had to be cared for at different hospitals 40 miles apart.

Adele Joicey gave birth to Luke and Ryan at a Middlesbrough hospital, but a bed shortage meant that Ryan was transferred to Gateshead.

After seven weeks he has been allowed home, and there are hopes that Luke will soon follow.
