Norman Baker MP wants end to town centre parking

Shoppers should be priced out of their cars in town centres and encouraged to use public transport, according to Transport Minister Norman Baker.

The Lewes MP said the government should invest more money in public transport, including cycling schemes.

He said he would also like to see cars eventually banned from city centres.
