Rex Whistler works go on display in Salisbury

The work of 20th Century British artist Rex Whistler has gone on public display.

Between WWI and WWII, Rex Whistler produced murals, portraits and even illustrations for the Radio Times. One of his most famous works is a room at Mottisfont Abbey near Romsey in Hampshire.

An exhibition of his work has opened at Salisbury Museum, which hopes to become a permanent home for his work.
