Chief social worker for children Isabelle Trowler on challenges
England's first chief social worker for children has been speaking about her plans, ahead of taking up the post in September.
Isabelle Trowler hopes to cut the amount of paperwork social workers have to do so they can spend more time with families.
She told the BBC's Michael Buchanan: "A lot of the administration that social workers end up doing is necessary but it can be done by other people."
