David Cameron terror laws statement

Prime Minister David Cameron is making a statement outlining new counter-terrorism measures to tackle the threat from Islamic extremists.

The measures are expected to include a plan to temporarily ban British-born jihadists who are fighting overseas from returning to the UK.

The strengthened anti-terror response follows increasing violence in Iraq and Syria, and concerns about British fighters' involvement.
