The papers: Saturday's front pages

The Economist's political correspondent Jeremy Cliffe and Alison Phillips, weekend editor of the Mirror, joined the BBC News Channel to review Saturday's front pages.

They began by discussing the Guardian's coverage of the UK's heightened terror alert, which suggests PM David Cameron and his deputy Nick Clegg will discuss security measures over the weekend, and the likely steps the Times suggests will be taken.

The pair then moved on to reports in the Times and the Sun about the police search for terminally ill five-year-old Ashya King, who has been taken away from hospital by his parents.

And they discussed coverage in the FT Weekend of the continuing conflict in Ukraine.
