Theresa May pledges new anti-extremist powers

The Home Secretary, Theresa May, has said the government must have all the legal powers necessary if it is to prevail against Islamic extremists.

In an article for The Daily Telegraph she said banning orders for extremist groups would be looked at again and pledged a legal requirement for public bodies to tackle radicalisation.
