Danczuk: Brittan statement 'disappointing'

Ex-home secretary Lord Brittan has issued a statement saying he asked his officials to "look carefully" at a dossier handed to him about alleged paedophiles in Westminster.

But Labour MP Simon Danczuk said he felt Lord Brittan's response was "disappointing" as he urged the Home Office to locate the dossier and consider publishing it.

Earlier in week Mr Danczuk had urged Lord Brittan to "share his knowledge of the allegations" contained in the 1980s report by late Tory MP Geoff Dickens.
