Luton Police link two 'attempted murders'

A "hit-and-run" and a shooting in Luton are being linked and treated as attempted murder, police have said.

Bedfordshire Police said "clear links" between the two emerged after public appeals.

A 24-year-old pedestrian was hit by a car in the town on 12 June.

On 25 May an 18-year-old was shot in the back by two masked people as he walked with friends.

David Whiteley reports.
