'Not possible' to monitor all UK Syria fighters

The former head of global counter-terrorism at MI6 has warned that the security services will not be able to monitor all of the Britons who return to the country after fighting in Syria.

It comes after several Britons were featured in an apparent recruitment video for jihadists.

Meanwhile, Sunni militants in Iraq have taken control of the country's Western borders after seizing crossings to Syria and Jordan.
