Gerry Adams: Police given more time to question Sinn Fein leader

Police in Northern Ireland have been granted another 48 hours to question the Sinn Fein leader, Gerry Adams, over the abduction and murder by the IRA of Jean McConville in 1972.

Mr Adams has already been held for two days at Antrim police station. He denies any involvement.
