How to demolish a city centre tower block

The demolition of a 21-storey tower block in central Birmingham has been described as one of most difficult carried out in a city centre.

The Stafford Tower accommodation block at Aston University was built in the 1970s and was removed to make way for a five-acre park.

David Gregory-Kumar went behind the scenes to find out how exactly it was done.
