The papers: Tuesday's front pages

James Rampton from the Independent and broadcaster Lynn Faulds Wood reviewed the papers for the BBC News Channel.

The discussion began with a look at the front page story in the Times about efforts by the international community to reduce their reliance on Russian gas amid the tensions in Ukraine.

Reports in many papers suggesting Manchester United manager David Moyes is set to depart were also examined.

Other talking points included comments by a former Tory cabinet minister in the Guardian on reform of prostitution laws, and speculation in the Financial Times on government plans to kickstart the fledging shale gas industry.
