Maundy Thursday: Queen hands out money in Blackburn

The Queen has handed out specially-minted coins as part of the traditional Royal Maundy service, held this year at Blackburn Cathedral.

Eighty-eight men and the same number of women, all aged over 70, were presented with the gifts in recognition of their work in the church and the community.
