The papers: Thursday's front pages
Financial Times political correspondent Kiran Stacey and blogger Susie Boniface reviewed the papers for the BBC News Channel.
They began by discussing the Times's front page picture, of the sinking ferry off South Korea, before moving on to its lead story which suggests that the economic recovery is bringing closer the prospect of an interest rate rise.
The pair then examined the Financial Times's lead story about Western businesses lobbying European governments not to impose tougher sanctions on Moscow in retaliation for perceived Russian expansionism in Ukraine.
