The papers: Wednesday's front pages

Spectator assistant editor Isabel Hardman and Owen Jones from the Guardian joined the BBC News Channel to review Wednesday's front pages.

They began by discussing the i's front-page of the Queen with Irish President Michael D Higgins. The pair moved on to the Daily Mail's coverage of the state visit, highlighting a protest by the father of a bomb victim about the presence of Northern Ireland Deputy First Minister - and former IRA commander - Martin McGuinness at a state banquet.

They also looked at the front page of the Guardian, which looks at the latest in the controversy over Culture Secretary Maria Miller's expenses claims.
