The papers: Wednesday's front pages

Political commentator Miranda Green and James Millar, of Scotland's Sunday Post newspaper, joined the BBC News Channel to review the papers.

They began with the Scotsman's lead story about the 12-year-old girl killed when a wall collapsed at an Edinburgh school.

The pair then moved on to the Daily Mirror's front page, which claims that a leaked report suggests a funding gap could result in patients having to wait up to a month to see their GP - before turning to the Independent's report that a union leader has threatened to set up a "Workers Party" to rival Labour.
