Guide dog charity calls for pavement parking ban

There are calls for a new law to stop motorists from parking on pavements.

The charity Guide Dogs wants it to be automatically banned for all roads in the UK except in special circumstances.

They say blind and visually impaired people are being put at risk when trying to avoid carelessly parked vehicles.

Sharon Barbour reports.
