The papers: Friday's front pages

Andrew Harrison, contributing editor at Esquire magazine, and Times assistant editor Anne Ashworth joined the BBC News Channel to review Friday's papers.

They began by discussing the powerful photographs used on front pages to illustrate the violence in Ukraine.

The pair moved on to a story on the front page of the Times, which quotes a member of the Bank of England's monetary policy committee as saying that interest rates could rise next spring.

They then discussed the Daily Mail's front page, which claims the Met Office forecast to councils in November last year that the winter would be drier than usual.
