The papers: Wednesday's front pages

Neil Midgley, media writer for The Daily Telegraph, and media executive Sue Douglas joined the BBC News Channel to review Wednesday's front pages.

They began by discussing a story in the Sun suggesting that minimum alcohol pricing might be introduced "through the back door".

The pair then moved on to a story in the Daily Telegraph suggesting that the Liberal Democrats are blocking Conservative moves to reduce the cap on council tax rises from 2% to 1.5%, and Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt's claim that almost 1,000 "whistleblowers" are exposing poor care in the NHS every month.
