Sexism survey 'not surprising' - says Girl Guide

Girls in the UK feel that sexual harassment is an unavoidable fact of life, according to a new report from The Girl Guides.

Of the girls surveyed between the ages of 7 and 21 - half said they had been the victim of sexual jokes, and a quarter had been touched inappropriately.

Girl Guide Simone Eubanks, 17, said she was 'not surprised' at the survey's findings.

She told BBC Radio 5 live's Breakfast: "I totally can understand 60% of girls having comments said about them at school, because that's what school is - kids can be mean."
