HS2 railway line 'essential for future'

The man who is taking over the body developing the high-speed railway line between London and Birmingham has been stating his case for the new rail line.

Sir David Higgins says the £50bn scheme is essential for the good of the economy and should have cross-party support.

Richard Westcott reports.
