Sheppey crash: No life threatening injuries 'a miracle'

A senior police officer has said people were lucky to escape a 130 vehicle pile-up on the A249 Sheppey crossing in Kent.

Assistant Chief Constable Rob Price said there were 70 "walking wounded" and eight people who had been seriously injured in the accident.

He said it was "a miracle" there were no life threatening injuries.
