DWP on housing benefit cuts: 'We fulfilled our duties'

The High Court has dismissed claims that the government's cuts to housing benefit discriminates against disabled people.

Ten families had brought a judicial review arguing that the so called "bedroom tax" breached their human rights because they need the extra space for health reasons.

Work and Pensions Minister Esther McVey said the government had fulfilled equality duties and had to look at how best to help all disabled people.
