Piper Alpha: 'Smoke was everywhere'

On 6 July 1988 an explosion on the Piper Alpha oil and gas rig in the North Sea led to a fire which killed 167 men.

The fire broke out just before 22:00 BST and by midnight the rig had blown up and fallen into the sea.

Here some of the survivors tell their story.
