Woolwich attack: Victim Lee Rigby 'had a wry sense of humour'

A soldier who was killed in a brutal attack in Woolwich on Wednesday was "quiet with a wry sense of humour", the priest who performed his wedding ceremony has said.

Lee Rigby, 25, was from Manchester and served with the 2nd Battalion the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers.

He married in September 2007 at St Anne's-in-the-Grove church in Southowram, West Yorkshire.

Rev Guy Jamieson said Drummer Rigby was aware he would have to spend part of his early married life serving overseas.
