Dog attack animals lawful breeds, say police

The dogs that mauled a 14-year-old girl who died in the attack are believed to be lawful breeds, say Greater Manchester police.

Jade Anderson was attacked by the animals at a house she was visiting in Atherton, near Wigan, on Tuesday afternoon.

Superintendent Mark Kenny said the dogs did appear to be lawful breeds.
