Snow causes problems for motorists in south east

Hundreds of drivers have been left stranded in their cars after snow brought some roads in parts of southern England to a standstill.

The worst affected areas are Kent and West Sussex - where several major roads are blocked and Red Cross volunteers are checking on the welfare of motorists.

Duncan Kennedy reports.
