Oxford's Ashmolean Museum unveils silver treasure trove

The Ashmolean in Oxford has received the largest donation of silver treasures to a British museum in more than a century.

The gift of nearly 500 works of art is the result of a lifetime of collecting by antique dealer Michael Wellby.

David Sillito has been shown some of the collection's gems by curator Tim Wilson.
