Freezing conditions force M6 closure near Wigan

Heavy snow is falling across parts of Scotland and England, amid warnings of flooding to come this weekend.

Freezing conditions and heavy snow led to the closure of part of the M6 overnight, with the motorway shut between junctions 25 and 27 near Wigan, Greater Manchester.

Motorist Jason Barr was stuck there and spoke to the BBC's Adnan Nawaz.
