Detective found guilty of NoW leak 'let down public'
A senior Metropolitan Police detective found guilty of offering to sell information on the phone-hacking probe to the News of the World, "let down the public", according to her former colleague.
Det Ch Insp April Casburn, 53, from Essex, was convicted of misconduct in public office on Thursday.
Det Ch Supt Gordon Briggs said her behaviour was "totally unacceptable from a serving police officer".
