Police commissioner candidates appeal for votes

Candidates to become England and Wales's first police and crime commissioners have conducted a final day of campaigning, amid concerns that voter turnout could be as low as 15%

Elections are taking place in 41 police force areas on Thursday.

The commissioners will replace police authorities and have the power to appoint the Chief Constable and set the police budget.

Tom Symonds reports from West Yorkshire where he has been talking to four candidates standing for election.
