Muslim poppy burners banned by Home Secretary

The government has banned Muslims Against Crusades, a group which was planning to burn poppies in a protest on Armistice Day.

At midnight on Thursday night, membership or support for Muslims Against Crusades became a criminal offence under the Terrorism Act.
