Population seven billion: The future for the UK's children

According to the United Nations, the world's population is growing at a faster rate now than ever, and will reach seven billion within the next week.

This is partly due to more children being born, but also because we are living longer.

In the first of a series of special reports the BBC's Graham Satchell looks at how the world's population is changing, and what the future holds for children in the UK.
