Labour: Police cuts too large
Police forces in England and Wales could reduce their workforce by more than 34,000 according to a new report.
Her Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabulary has inspected all 43 forces, and estimates that by March 2015 there will be 16,200 fewer officers, 1,800 fewer community support officers and 16,100 fewer civilian staff.
Labour MP Vernon Coaker who is Shadow Minister for Police, criticised the planned cuts.
