Medics drop grandmother into icy sea off Norway
A 73-year-old grandmother is in intensive care after being dropped overboard by paramedics who were trying to carry her off a cruise ship.
Janet Richardson, from Cumbria, spent several minutes in the icy waters off Norway before she was rescued.
A medical team had been trying to transfer her on a stretcher, when the two boats moved apart and she fell into the North Sea.
She is now being treated in a hospital in the UK.
Lorna Gordon reports.
