News of the World: Four phone hacking test cases approved
It has emerged that the actor Jude Law is likely to be the next celebrity to begin legal action against the News of the World over alleged phone hacking.
Earlier lawyers for a group of celebrities were at the high court to find out how their legal action against the newspaper would proceed. A judge said four test cases, including that of the actress Sienna Miller, should go ahead later this year.
Meanwhile, Scotland Yard has confirmed it is looking into claims that journalists working for the newspaper paid police officers for information.
