New police appeal over Jo Yeates murder
Detectives in Bristol investigating the murder of the landscape architect, Jo Yeates, have made a fresh appeal for information.
At the same time, they sought to reassure people living in the area saying there was no evidence of an increased threat to their safety and warned them to take adequate precautions.
The 25-year-old's snow-covered body was found near her home in Clifton, Bristol, on Christmas Day.
Her landlord, Chris Jefferies, was arrested and questioned about her death but later released on police bail.
Chief Superintendent John Stratford, from Avon and Somerset Police, read out a statement to journalists.
