7 July survivor Gill Hicks praises her rescuers

A passenger who lost both legs in the 2005 London bombings has praised those who came to her rescue and saved her life despite the fact that she was so severely injured.

Gill Hicks was on a Tube train at Russell Square when bomber Germaine Lindsay detonated a bomb on 7 July, killing 26 people.

Her comments came after she gave evidence to the inquiry into the terrorist attacks, where she was praised by the coroner for her "indomitable spirit".
