Prince William in RAF rescue in Morecambe Bay

Prince William has taken part in his first rescue mission since qualifying as an RAF search and rescue pilot.

As co-pilot of an RAF Sea King, Flight Lieutenant Wales as he is known, rescued a seriously ill worker from a gas rig in Morecambe Bay at the weekend.

The man was airlifted to Blackpool Victoria hospital where he is still undergoing treatment.

Peter Hunt reports on a royal rescue.
