False widow sightings: Meet the county spider counter

There has been an increase in the number of sightings of the false widow spider - Britain's most venomous spider.

One school in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, was forced to close on Tuesday because of an outbreak.

David Haigh, the county's spider recorder, is dealing with more queries than usual from anxious homeowners. However, he says only an unlucky few get bitten.

He introduced the BBC to one of his specimens.
