GM protesters' claims 'scientifically inaccurate'

A scientist behind the research into genetically modified wheat, has denied the possibility of cross contamination, saying the protesters' claims are "scientifically inaccurate".

Security has been tightened around the experimental crop at the Harpenden test site, run by Rothamsted Research in Hertfordshire, to prevent any damage during a day of action by opponents.

Professor Morris Maloney told the BBC's David Shukman, what the experiment aims to achieve.
