'Aitch' or 'haitch'? The changing sound of pronunciation
Researchers at the British Library are recording the voices of people across Britain to find out how our way of pronouncing everyday words is changing.
The results will be presented in the form of an exhibition.
Early results suggest that our age has a strong bearing on how likely we are to pronounce key words, like 'mischievous', 'ate', 'says' and even the letter 'h'.
