Carer 'demoralised' at treatment of partner's mother
A carer whose partner's mother lives in a care home says her treatment has been "horrendous."
"Alice" believed she had made the best choice for the 81-year-old because of her seven years experience as a carer.
However, after two weeks at the "cream of care homes," she found the elderly mother smelling of urine and deteriorating rapidly.
She spoke to BBC Radio 5 live's Breakfast, as secret filming by Panorama exposed abuse at a different care home - the Old Deanery in Essex.
