Health minister Anna Soubry: 'No easy solutions on A&E'

The government has admitted that pressure on NHS accident and emergency departments in England is "a serious problem".

Health minister Anna Soubry said the government is taking action to ease pressure on hospitals, including integrating local health and social care services.

The admission by Ms Soubry came after the head of the health service regulator warned that the pressures being put on A&E departments are "unsustainable".
