Tessa Dunlop's film about her father's death

Medical schools have reported a huge rise in people wanting to donate their bodies after they die.

The Human Tissue Authority said an item on BBC1's The One Show in May had led to a four-fold increase in calls.

After Donald Dunlop was diagnosed with cancer, he made the decision to donate his body to medical science.

Broadcaster Tessa Dunlop filmed the last year of her father's life and her mother's reaction to his decision, as well as her own thoughts on the matter.

This was the first of two films about the family's story. It was shown on The One Show on 17 May 2010.
